Ready for real training?

Whether we’re your first choice or a last resort, Koru K9 will ensure that your canine companion is the perfect addition to your pack.

Allie Raines has been training dogs professionally since 2015 after initially graduating from the National K9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio. Since then, she has had the privilege of working with hundreds to thousands of dogs in various capacities around the country – from puppies and pet training as a kennel master and head trainer at a large training facility, to individual task training and service dogs for handlers with disabilities, to training and nationally certifying her own dog on narcotics detection and human tracking just for fun, and even to fulfilling the childhood dream of becoming a police K9 decoy, including spending nearly a full year living on the road, traveling throughout the US to volunteer as a decoy with the HRD Police K9 team – and ending up working dogs in 32 states.

Through the time spent engaging in such varied training environments, Allie found a specialty with pet dogs in problem-solving and behavior modification through the ultimate training tool: learning to listen to the dogs themselves. She strives to bring some of that hands-on experience, understanding, and education to her clients in a way that will long outlast any training session and serve as lifelong, evergreen skills for every pet owner.
