Rebekka hails from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where she grew up with a dog who she cared for throughout her childhood. She ended up living in the US and is a mother to four children and four dogs! When she became a dog owner as an adult, she was intrigued by the idea of communicating with dogs and once she found out about training, she knew it was for her. Rebekka has been training dogs since 2013 and can’t imagine ever stopping. She received her Diploma in Dog Behavior and Training at both the Professional and Master levels from the Tom Rose School in St. Louis, MO. She specialized in tracking and search & rescue with her dog, Rosie, who always has her nose ready for an adventure. In search of more comprehensive training, Rebekka attended the NePoPo Dog Training System in Holland and in Missouri, where she learned more in-depth methods of negative-positive-positive reinforcement training. Her extensive training over the years has given her a window on multiple methods for training dogs, as well as a deep understanding of the psychology involved in motivating different personalities of dogs. She looks forward to helping you by training your dog to respond to your commands with heart and soul. She also believes in the importance of teaching you to communicate more effectively with your dog. She sees that as a win-win!
