My name is Taylor Davis, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Koru K9 team! I have always had a fascination with animals and knew that I wanted to work with them from a young age. In 2014 I attended The Tom Rose School for dog trainers, where I learned many aspects of training. After completion of both the Professional and Master courses, I knew that I needed to learn more. I have spent a lot of time travelling the country learning about various types of training ranging from competition to police canine training.
Through my travelling and learning I believe in a few key things when it comes to training. I believe that it is my obligation to provide you with the skills and knowledge to not only train your dog, but to create a trust, bond, and understanding that that goes beyond simply teaching obedience. Individual dogs are unique and require various things in training and in their lives. Determining what will make you and your dog’s life better will ultimately determine what you need from training. We show these animals the ultimate respect when we provide and treat them in ways that will make them prosper and understand what it means to coexist with humans. When these things are done properly, we create a canine that is attentive and respectful of us. It is our duty as their caregivers to lead them in the right direction. This is my mission when training with not only my own dogs, but you as well.
