Tyler Peterson

Tyler Peterson is a certified police k9 trainer and behavioral trainer. He started his Journey in 2018 transitioning out of the military that led him to a Police K9 Training and behavioral training school in Louisiana. After he graduated he started helping people with their dogs until he officially got out and started training full time. Shortly after he started helping decoy for police k9 seminars all over the country while training pet dogs on the side. This journey eventually led him to one of the most well known dog schools in the country called Tarheel K9. Here he was learning to master his skills that he’s gained and better the training on a huge scale of different dogs. He was certified there as a Police K9 Decoy again as well as a Certified PSA decoy that allows him to travel all over the country testing professionally trained protection dogs and bettering them for other people through seminars, workshops, and trials. Not only does he do this for others but for himself and took both of his dogs to PSA nationals in their first year of competition and got 7th and 10th out of the entire PSA international sport. One of his female dogs scored the 2nd highest obedience score of the entire 2022 competition season.Through this journey he’s helped thousands of dogs bettering them and making things easier for the communication between the owner and dog.
