I was super lucky to get paired up with trainers Jee and Deug-Min when I reached out to Koru because I can honestly say they changed mine and my dog’s life. I adopted a rescue from oversees right before COVID and, over the course of the year, began to notice some behavioral problems she had with resource guarding around other dogs. We had unsuccessfully tried a few other trainers and I was beginning to worry that I would never feel confident controlling my dogs behavior or trusting her around other dogs. Jee and Deug-Min took my dog on for a 3-week board and train and I can honestly say that I was given back a totally different dog. They knew that what my dog was missing was a solid set of boundaries and structure (and a few stern “No’s!”). Since implementing that with their help, my dog is so much happier, a much better listener, and absolutely thrives under her routine. She’s much more confident and well behaved around other dogs and we were even able to dog-sit a friends dog for a whole week with no fighting! I recommend the training (and specifically Jee and Deug-Min as the trainers) to everyone with a dog because I see how much of a difference they have made in my dogs life. They have continued to work with us after the initial training and we plan to keep working with them as needed for my dog. She’s also totally obsessed with them and gets so excited when she gets to see them for follow-ups, which I think speaks volumes. Attached is a photo Jee sent me during their 3-week board and train!
