I honestly didn’t know what to expect from Koru K9, despite the positive reviews I read. I don’t really trust others with my dog and like to do everything myself. But I had issues of leash reactivity that I could not fix on my own despite trying several different approaches. The reactivity increased to where I stopped walking my dog, Tramp, because I didn’t want it to get even worse. I contacted Koru K9, and they set me up with Sean. Sean came around to meet Tramp, and Tramp took to him right away. I could tell Sean knew what he was doing and would be attentive to my dog. I booked the hybrid training. After the board and train portion, I noticed a significant difference in Tramp; I could walk him without him pulling or reacting! Tramp was more calm and attentive in general. And I have since worked with Tramp in all the ways Sean told me would be necessary. Tramp has improved in ways I didn’t even think he needed improvement. And the in-person sessions after the boarding portion of the hybrid plan have been great for me — giving me more confidence in myself as well as my dog (Tramp was also super excited to see Sean again). Sean is very knowledgable, articulate, and has been exceptionally helpful. Although I thought it was expensive, and wasn’t sure how it would work out, I am enormously pleased by the results and I think it’s all been more than worth it, for both me and Tramp. Definitely 5 stars
