Ready for real training?

Whether we’re your first choice or a last resort, Koru K9 will ensure that your canine companion is the perfect addition to your pack.

Let the Heeling Begin

When your dog is anxious or fearful, it can result in behaviors the require the expertise of a trainer to resolve. Our dog trainers in your area are experts in dealing with anxious dogs, specializing in rehabilitating and preventing behavior problems that are caused by fear or anxiety. Our trainers take the time to understand your dog’s unique needs and then develop a customized training program that translates seamlessly into real-world environments. We can address all forms of unwanted or unsafe aggressive behavior, including, but not limited to, inappropriate urination/defecation, excessive crying, howling or whining, trembling or hiding and destructive behavior.

How it Works.

Step 1: Assessment

One of our trainers works with you to determine why your dog’s anxious behaviors are happening and what they’re going to do to help resolve the problem. They’ll meet with you and your dog, conduct a detailed interview about your dog, assess your dog’s behavior and clarify your training goals.

Step 2: Action Plan

Following the assessment, our trainer will develop a customized plan to effectively train and modify the anxious behaviors. They’ll also recommend which of our programs is the best fit for your dog: our In-Home Training program, where we work with you and your dog in the privacy of your own home, or our Board & Train program, an immersive course during which your dog lives with our trainer for anywhere from three to eight weeks.
