Koru K9 changed our lives! I have a two year old English Bulldog who at about the 18 month mark, started exhibiting reactive behavior. It was increasingly getting worse – walks became a nightmare, he would pull aggressively on his leash, barking and lunging at people and dogs. In the home, he would go wild when people came over, jumping on furniture, humping them, and I realized I stopped having people come over. It got to the point where I was not able to control him, so I reached out to Koru K9. The entire experience was great, from start to finish. I entered some info online, and received a response right away. The intake call was very helpful to give an overview of his behaviors. One of the things I was immediately impressed with is I noticed they did not draw on my emotion and fears and try to “oversell” me by recommending the longest board and train program. They recommended a four week board and train, and we were grateful to be paired with Jeremy. I had seen some of his videos on the Koru K9 site, and thought his experience would be helpful for our needs. Jeremy coordinated a call with me to get more info, and we then coordinated a time for pick up. During the four weeks while Bruno was at training, I watched more of the videos on the site, which gave me some foundation on what to do (and not do!). When Jeremy brought Bruno home, he spent time training me. I appreciate that we worked hands on with Bruno, walking him, learning how to put on his collars, and Jeremy did not rush me at all, he made sure that all of my questions were answered. Since coming home, I’ve been following all of the instructions, and walks are now such a pleasure – the neighbors have even made comments about his changed behavior, and in the house, he stays on his place pad when told. Thank you Jeremy and Koru K9, I now have the dog I’ve always wanted!
