Koru K9 Dog Training and Rehabilitation is an award winning balanced dog training company. Together, with our team of dog trainers and dog behaviorists, Koru K9 Dog Training is on a mission is to guide dog owners through a process that will help them understand, communicate and work with their dogs to resolve training challenges and behavior problems in a real world setting.
Our approach to dog training is a balanced and holistic one. We look at the entire relationship between the dog, and its environment, to identify the root cause(s) of the problem behavior, and address your dog’s state of mind. Your dog will be calmer, happier, more relaxed, and balanced. You will learn how to read your dog’s body language and really be able to “listen” to what they are telling you. We teach YOU how to be a better handler for your dog. We help you understand the dog that you have: their unique temperament and drives.
One size does not fit all. We are balanced dog trainers. Summed up very simply, we use all four quadrants of learning to help you and your dog achieve the relationship of your dreams. Every dog is unique, and needs its own unique training approach. We believe that dog, like humans, thrive in a life where there is balance and clear, consistent communication. Our goal is to motivate your dog to learn, and improve the quality of your relationship. We believe that if you take an extreme position in one way or the other, you will severely limit your ability to help a dog and your clients. Many of our clients find their way to us after having worked with other trainers with little or no results. We often see situations where it’s not only the dogs, but the owner that are suffering from fear, stress, and anxiety. Our goal is to help your dog (and you) out of this state of mind as quickly as possible to help restore order to your lives. We offer private in-home dog training, as well as board and train and hybrid programs for behavior modification and rehabilitation in real-world settings.
