I reached out to Koru thinking I would have to break my heart and rehome my Dutch shepherd/Malinois mix. He was aggressive toward our small dog, our toddler, and my husband. He had bit me several times, and it was to the point where we were living in two separate spaces in our house.

We did the hybrid board and train, then home training sessions. From the moment I spoke with Natalie to the last session I knew my pup was in great hands. She dealt with my many questions, and trust me, I had them! She has amazing communication. Her and Lee pour their hearts into each dog that comes into their home. Even though Jas has graduated, they STILL answer any questions I have. I didn’t have a great relationship with Jasper. I loved him, but it was strained. After working with Natalie and Lane, my relationship with my dog is SO MUCH BETTER. We now have roles and balance that we can enjoy our relationship and be positive and not stressed out. My son can kiss Jasper, and they snuggle together! We are still working on our tiny queen bee attitude, but Jasper is a perfect gentleman.

One thing I also want to say is that yes, they are AMAZING trainers, SOLID people, and just the best people you want in life. However, you need to do the work. I watched the videos they sent, I asked questions, I emailed, I followed through. You and your pup deserve this balance and peace that I promise you is at the end of this tunnel. I get stopped when out and about with Jasper saying he is the best behaved dog. He is ONE! His recall is amazing, he’s attitude is perfect. I cannot say this enough, Natalie and Lee Lane, my family is forever grateful for your time with Jasper. Thank you, thank you, thank you! #LanesTakeOver

Joey Zahn at Koru K9 worked a miracle with my fearful, resource-guarding, biting little rescue. We were afraid that we might need to euthanize this dog because he was always in attack mode and was even drawing blood with his bites!

Joey took our dog into his 6 week board’n’train program and transformed him into a chill, confident and happy pup.

With gentle patience, and clear, consistent expectations our dog learned how all good things would come when he trusted Joey. They became pals and mastered basic obedience skills together.

Best of all, with Joey’s “hybrid” board and train program, he spent time teaching me, too! I learned to use his training methods that were so successful. Last night our dog was perfectly content to munch on his chew while I had 9 people at my dinner table. It’s a miracle!

We love working with Jennie Pardi who has been so helpful with Tommy Boy, our German Corso. We’re excited to continue working with her!

We have a red heeler and Pyrenees mix named Fawn. We had a problem with food aggression and obedience. We have grandchildren who visit often so it was important to address these issues. Sierra was our trainer and she made it possible for us to keep our sweet girl. Fawn was in the 3 week board and train sessions with Sierra. She trained Fawn using the e-collar and then trained us how to use it. That was a game changer!! Sierra was patient , kind and communicated with us through texts , pictures and phone calls. We would highly recommend her. She showed us how to effectively use the e-collar and continue working on the food aggression. Sierra was such a blessing to our family and we are so thankful for everything she did!

Jessica is the most amazing trainer ever! I have been to many trainers with my dog and she was incredible! I really had lost hope and if this training didn’t work was going to have to find another owner for Waylon because his reactivity was so incredibly bad I couldn’t have anyone over and it was embarrassing taking him out he was bark like crazy at anyone or dogs and then react back at me biting me. He is so amazing after Jessica’s training we did the 3 week stay and train and now I’ve had Waylon back for 2 weeks and have been able to take him out and around people and he has been amazing letting people pet him and not bark and not once has he reacted back at me.
