Whether we’re your first choice or a last resort, Koru K9 will ensure that your canine companion is the perfect addition to your pack.

Koru K9 Brand Evangelist

San Francisco, California
We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for the right individual…
Position: Brand Evangelist (The Face & Voice of Koru K9)
Location: Remote / Field-Based (Active in the dog community)
Type: Part-Time (with clear path to Full-Time/Lead Content Strategist)
The Mission: Koru K9 is seeking a Brand Evangelist to become the literal face and voice of our brand. We don’t just “do” dog training; we set the standard.
We need a charismatic, technically proficient expert who can bridge the gap between world-class dog training and digital storytelling. You will be the primary point of contact for our community, the personality on our screens, and the bridge to the talent we want to hire.
You will be reporting directly to the CEO.
Your Core Responsibilities
– Be the Voice: Host our social media presence. You will be on camera, narrating training sessions, explaining the “why” behind our methods, and engaging in real-time with our audience.
– Masterful Content Creation: Produce high-impact Reels, TikToks, Shorts, YouTube Videos, and Stories that translate complex, balanced training into digestible, “viral-ready” content. To be clear – we don’t care much about virality, we care about engagement and connection.
– Community & Talent Scouting: You are our boots-on-the-ground scout. You’ll engage with the sport and pro-training communities to identify, network with, and recruit the best training talent in the country.
– The Bridge: Act as the liaison between Koru K9 and the professional dog world—maintaining our reputation for excellence.
The “Koru K9” Fit (What We’re Looking For)
– Pro-Level Handling: You are an experienced trainer or a high-level sport handler (IGP, PSA, Ringsport, etc.). You must have “dog savvy” that is visible on camera.
– Unapologetic Philosophy: You are deeply aligned with balanced training. You can confidently and articulately discuss the use of all four quadrants of operant conditioning with clarity and professionalism.
– Visual Storyteller: You don’t just “film a dog”; you know how to capture the “lightbulb moment” in a training session and edit it into a compelling narrative.
– The Scout Instinct: You are already “plugged in.” You know who the top trainers are, who the rising stars are, and where the talent hangs out.
Growth & Evolution
This role starts with a focus on Social Media and Recruitment. However, for the right person, this is a “ground floor” opportunity. We want this role to eventually own all Koru K9 communication, including:
– Website Content & Educational Blogging
– Email Newsletters & Client Education Series
– Internal Culture & Trainer Development Content
– Paid search and social
