We are looking for experienced balanced trainers in the Seattle area. The Koru K9 team is looking for both Board & Train and In-Home Trainers.

Koru K9 has experienced incredible growth and there is no end to that in sight. We have an absolutely amazing team of trainers that all work beautifully together. Our company covers Northern California, San Diego, Dallas – Fort Worth, St. Louis, Portland, Florida, South Carolina, Stamford, Tennessee, Arizona, Richmond, Utah, and Denver Metro area with a specialty in aggressive behavior modification. We are not ones to sit idle, we are constantly looking for ways to grow and develop what we do. we work hard, and play harder. We insist that our team take time off and take vacations.
A Little About You
We are seeking an experienced, balanced trainer. The ideal person would not only have experience with aggression cases, but also work their own dog(s) in some capacity. If you have a set up to take board and train clients, that would be ideal (though we have specific requirements for our b&t set up, it would have to be approved first). No ego, I mean it. We do what we do because we love helping dogs and their owners, it’s about them, not us. You must play nicely with others, and must have good communication and organization skills. We are actively seeking graduates of TRS and Tarheel canine (or schools along those lines).
A Little About The Gig
You’ll be busy if you want to be. For private in home — plan for at least 10-20 new clients per month, largely based on your availability. If you are taking board and train clients, then we will talk about the number of dogs you can take. We keep it small so you can focus on plenty of training for the client dogs. all trainers are ics — you set your own schedule. It’s a pretty sweet gig where you are going to focus on the clients and we take care of the rest. You will need a reliable car as you will be driving to clients. You will work with us, not for us.
Our trainers make 60-70% of total training packages sold, depending on experience. With the goal to get trainers being paid 70% as quickly as possible, so you are paid well for your hard work.
