Heather, who recently moved to the Portland area, was essentially a miracle worker and a life saver. I had an adolescent German Shepherd female who challenged me incessantly, was stronger than me, and was extremely reactive on the leash toward other dogs/kids/wheels/bikes/cars/leaves….literally anything that moved. I could see her reactivity could easily turn to aggression. Every time I had to walk her, I felt a pit of dread in my stomach and I actually had an elbow injury from her pulling me so hard (she once pulled me airborne like a rag doll!). I had worked with several trainers with different methods, but Heather’s was the most straight-forward and easy to understand for both my pup and me. I have a special needs dog, so Heather worked with her with a balanced approach and brought out the best version of my dog ever. Now I walk my dog and I happily challenge her with bikes and joggers, making her listen and behave the way I expect her to. I’ve never received so many compliments on what a well-trained dog I have. The best part of all is now I actually enjoy spending time outside with my pup. It’s a big investment, but worth every single cent!! Can I give 10 stars? Thank you, Koru K9!
