Austin Dog Training

Let the Heeling Begin.

You do not need to love your dog more. You want more moments when life together feels good: passing another dog on a walk and seeing yours look up at you, welcoming a friend, or simply feeling understood. Training builds on that bond so you can enjoy more of the life you share.

Whether you want calmer walks near Lady Bird Lake, easier greetings at your South Austin front door or more focus on Mueller's neighborhood sidewalks, we start with the moments that matter to you. Our Austin dog trainers build trust, clear communication and practical skills at your dog's pace, with coaching that helps you keep learning together at home.

Dog Behaviorist

Trey grew up in a small rural town but that never stopped him from seeking a new adventure. After realizing college wasn’t right for him his research into the dog training world began. Trey then attended the Fall 2019 Immersion Program at The Michael Ellis School for dog trainers with his American Bully, Shark, who had become reactive to most dogs and cats.

It was there Trey learned to help his dogs live a more fulfilling life using a reliable communication method through balanced dog training. Trey hopes to compete in bitesports one day and learn the art of decoying.

Haley grew up in Louisiana, and always had dogs growing up. She loves to travel and be outside with her dogs. Training and playing with her dogs has allowed her to do that more. She started working with her own dogs and quickly began to see progress. As Haley’s knowledge of how dogs learn grew she became fascinated and developed a passion for it.

She soon discovered that she wanted to work with dogs and their owners full time. There’s nothing more rewarding to her than assisting dog owners in building a relationship between them and their dog.

Good dogs. Good questions.

Austin dog training FAQs

Start with your goals, your dog's history and how you can participate. Board and train takes place in a trainer's home and includes owner coaching. Private in-home lessons involve you practicing with your dog in your own routines. We confirm local availability and fit before recommending a plan.

Yes. We help families work through behavior concerns as well as everyday manners. Tell us about triggers, bite incidents, health concerns and previous training. Explore behavior-focused help and our leash reactivity guide. Your consultation helps us understand what support fits your dog.

Our balanced, relationship-first approach focuses on trust, clear communication, consistent boundaries and reinforcement. Your trainer explains the approach, practice and any appropriate tools recommended for your dog. Ask questions about the plan before you begin.

Cost depends on the format and program recommended. Review the local board and train page for published program options, then ask us to confirm the total, what is included and any applicable travel arrangements before you book.

No. Puppy training describes the age and foundation skills being addressed; board and train describes where training takes place. Explore puppy training options, then confirm age requirements, readiness and local availability with us.

Your dog stays in a trainer's home with an individual training and management plan. Training, rest and everyday practice are balanced around your dog's needs. Owner coaching helps you understand the plan and continue practicing when your dog returns home.

Tell us about medical needs, bite history, escape attempts, crate distress and other handling concerns before placement. We assess suitability, discuss management and use appropriate containment when a dog is not actively supervised. Home-based care does not mean continuous observation or a risk-free environment.

Coverage, trainer availability and travel arrangements vary by program. Share your location during the consultation so we can confirm what is available. A trainer's home is a private residence, not a public walk-in training facility.

Let's find the right next step for you and your dog.

Tell us what everyday life looks like now and what you would like to change. We'll talk through program fit, availability and practical expectations together.
