Lucy, a scruffy terrier mix, was found roaming the streets, scared and alone. But then, her luck changed. She was adopted by a loving family who chose our program for her training. Today, Lucy is a different dog. Confident, well-behaved, and above all, happy.
She’s not just a pet. She’s a family member.
And this is the transformation we aim for with every rescue dog that joins our program. We believe your furry friend deserves not just a new home, but a new beginning.

What is Koru’s New Beginnings Program?
Our “New Beginning” program is designed to help your rescue dog transition smoothly into their new life. Our program kicks off with a 4-week Board & Train. It’s more than just training – it’s about building strong bonds, nurturing trust, and fostering a sense of security in your fur-kid.
Then comes the Go Home session.
Your dog returns to you and you have a 1.5 – 2 hour long session with your trainer to go over everything that your dog learned during the first part of their program. Plus, you get to participate in 3 follow up lessons to understand how to reinforce and maintain these behaviors at home.
But the journey doesn’t end there.
Approximately 6 months after the date of rescue, the 2nd phase kicks in: a 3-week Board & Train program, followed by the Go Home session and 3 more lessons for you.
