Liz is not a wizard. So if you think dog training is something that you will send your dog to her for and you’ll never have to work with your dog, you need to think again about owning a dog. We sent my wife’s Aussie here. The dog had high levels of anxiety and stress and was difficult to train for us. She pulled on a leash, would drag us on runs, would not come back when called (unless she wanted to), and generally just did what she wanted.
When we got the dog back we worked with Liz to learn how to communicate with our dog. That’s what Liz does. She gets on the dogs level and teaches the dog how to communicate with people. She then takes time with the owner and teaches them how to communicate with the dog. You WILL NEED to keep working with your dog after you get them back but Liz has done the heavy lifting already. She taught the dog what it needed to know and sets you and the dog up for success.
She is excellent with dogs and she’s one of those people that “just understands dogs.”
